"Hello From the Studio!

Happy 2009! We've started this new year hard at work crafting our new record. The process is very, VERY encouraging right now. I'm excited about the fact that we're going to have plenty of time to spend on this album. Even though that keeps us off the road, it means we get to make sure the songs turn out the best that they possibly can. We spent the first three weeks of December getting demos together of the new songs, and now we're square in the middle of recording the first batch of them. We've been down here in Atlanta for the past couple weeks with Rick Beato, who we worked with for a lot of "The Heat." We're always impressed with the sounds that Rick gets, and these tracks are no different. They're sounding phenomenal! We miss seeing y'all out at the live shows, but take comfort in the fact that the next time you see us live we'll have a whole new batch of songs for you to sink your teeth into. In the meantime, stay patient, and you might as well go and re-purchase the first two records...just to get some practice in for the new one.
